DIDDY FOR PRESIDENT

And senior politicians rally to his call...

P Diddy has stepped up his attempt to get young voters in the US make their voice heard in November’s Presidential election by taking his ‘Vote Or Die’ campaign to the Democratic Party conference in Boston.

The star has been leading the fight to get some 42 million young and minority voters to engage in the political process.

His call was echoed by senior party officials like Hillary Clinton and Ben Affleck who backed his campaign.

"No matter what anybody tells you," the Reverend Al Sharpton said, "the real deal is what Puffy said, 'Vote or Die.' Your life could be at stake."

Democratic hopeful John Kerry was officially unveiled to run against President Bush at the conference this week.

According to MTV, the hip hop mogul will resurface at New York's Madison Square Garden, where the Republicans will hold their national convention at the end of August.
