Rapper involved in Oscars incident
has been accused of battery at a Hollywood hotel on the night of the Academy Awards.
The incident allegedly happened at the Roosevelt hotel near the Kodak Theatre, according to Los Angeles Police spokesman Jason Lee.
It is alleged that real estate agent Gerard Rechnitzer was attacked shortly after 2.30am on Sunday (February 25) after Combs was talking to his girlfriend, reports celebrity news website TMZ.com.
Police confirmed they took a report from someone who accused Combs of battery.
The document, parts of which are blacked out, resembles a “receipt” form that police typically give to someone who lodges a complaint.
It does not mention Combs by name.
The rapper's publicist Megan Prophet has declined to comment on the incident so far.
