Shots ring out at star-studded party

Diddy, Nelly and Usher escape harm in Atlanta club shooting

P Diddy, Usher and Nelly escaped injury after shots were fired at a party they were attending in Atlanta, GA.

The hip-hoppers were at Club Dreams, at an event hosted by producer Jermaine Dupri on Friday night (August 1) when a disgruntled club goer produced a gun and began firing.

One security guard was shot in the arm, and has since been released from hospital.

“I’m sad this incident happened because it interrupted a beautiful and loving party,” host Dupri told Access Hollywood. “I’m happy none of my people or friends got hurt. And the party continues.”

Police are working with witnesses to try and establish the identity of the gunman, whom reports say became irate after security tried to charge people the cover fee twice.
