Palma Violets have announced details of their debut album.

The LP, which is currently untitled, is scheduled for release on February 25 on Rough Trade Records.

The former NME cover stars are currently recording at London's RAK studios with Pulp's Steve Mackey and are set to join Django Django, Miles Kane and Peace on the NME Awards Tour 2013 in February.

The band are also set to appear on BBC's Jools Holland tonight (November 27) at 10pm on BBC2 alongside Lana Del Ray and The Weeknd. The full show will be aired on Friday (November 30) at 11.50pm on BBC2.

Speaking to NME about the record previously, the band's bassist Chilli Jesson said: "We suddenly realised…that the majority of the bands we saw…well, you couldn't fucking BELIEVE in them. You couldn't FEEL anything from them. When I got to a gig, I want feeling, so from that moment we decided we wanted to go in and fucking write some songs that people could fucking feel."

The NME Awards Tour 2013 will visit:

Newcastle O2 Academy (February 7)
Manchester Academy 1 (8)
Leeds O2 Academy (9)
Glasgow O2 Academy (11)
Nottingham Rock City (12)
Liverpool O2 Academy (13)
Norwich UEA (15)
Birmingham O2 Academy (16)
Cardiff Uni Great Hall (17)
Bristol O2 Academy (19)
Bournemouth O2 Academy (20)
Brighton Dome (21)
London O2 Brixton Academy (23)

An exclusive ticket pre-sale begins Wednesday, November 28th at 9am at nme.com/tickets. Tickets go on general sale on Friday, November 30th at 9am.
