Paloma Faith has announced she will play the American Express Platinum Cashback gig in London on March 3 for War Child.

The 'Picking Up The Pieces' singer will play a stripped-back set accompanied by a grand piano and string quartet at London's Union Chapel. All ticketholders attending the gig will be given their "cashback" on the £30 ticket price in the form of a £30 American Express gift card, which they can then choose to keep or donate to War Child.

All money collected on the night, along with £10,000 donated by American Express already, will be used to help support War Child's work supporting the most vulnerable children whose families and communities have been ripped apart by war.

Speaking about the "cashback" gig, Ben Knowles, Director of Fundraising at War Child, said: "Music is crucial in helping War Child raise awareness of issues facing children in war and the money to do something about it. We are excited to be working with Paloma Faith and American Express as part of the Platinum Cashback gig.

"Each £30 could help get one of the children we work with back to school for an entire year. That is a life-saving, life-changing impact – giving a child the hope and skills to build a better future for themselves. We’re looking forward to what promises to be a great night."

Tickets for Paloma Faith at London's Union Chapel on March 3 are on sale now via Ticketmaster. Tickets are priced at £30 and are limited to four per person.
