'Expect the unexpected' from the Las Vegas boys
Panic At The Disco have revealed that their second record will be significantly different to their debut ‘A Fever You Can’t Sweat Out’.
The band have recently begun writing ideas for their new songs and have urged fans to “expect the unexpected”.
Speaking to Billboard, Urie said: “The next album is going to be stuff that we’ve never tried before. That’s the stuff that interests us in our music – just exploring new instruments we’ve never tried and new sounds that are appealing to us. You’ll find a lot of stuff you’d never expect.”
Urie also explained that guitarist Ryan Ross and drummer Spencer Smith have taken up piano lessons, saying: “We’re all trying to improve as musicians. We try to take control of our own destiny, I guess.”
The band are currently on tour in the US in support of their debut LP.
