Panic! At The Disco press shot Jan 2006

Eager fans will have to wait

Panic At The Disco will reportedly not be releasing their new album until 2008.

The Las Vegas band went into 'self-imposed hibernation' earlier this year to record the follow-up to 2005's 'A Fever You Can't Sweat Out', which was originally expected to arrive later this year.

A spokesperson for the band told Kerrang that they are still writing the album, and are not planning to release it until early next year.

Meanwhile, the band are set to play US, UK and European festivals throughout the summer, including Reading, Leeds and Bumbershoot.
