Panic At The Disco to begin work on next album after Christmas

Panic! At The Disco have revealed that they will begin work on their next studio album after the Christmas holiday period.

Writing on his blog at Weresoblogging.com, bassist Jon Walker explained that the foursome had already written songs for the follow-up to 2008's 'Pretty. Odd', and hoped to roadtest the material in the spring.

"We have been writing songs all year about the places we've been, the things we've seen and the games we've won," he wrote. "We are planning on working on those songs, as well as writing some even newer ones after the holidays are over.

"Excitement sets in. By next springtime we will be back in your town, eating your food and drinking your drink. Hope you miss us as we miss you. Thanks for a wonderful year, here's to the next."
