Papa Roach are set to release their new album, 'The Connection', on October 1.

The Californian rock act will follow 2010's 'Time For Annihillation… On The Record and On The Road' with the new LP, which was recorded at The Red House in Sacramento and produced by James Michael - who fronts Sixx: AM with Motley Crue's Nikki Sixx - and John Feldmann.

The first single to be taken from the album will be 'Still Swingin'', which is due out on September 2. Watch behind the scenes footage from the video shoot in New York for the track below.

At the end of last year, Jacoby Shaddix of the band said the record would be the 'album of their career' and added that they were "opening their minds and listening to a broad range of music from metal to electronic to reggae and soaking up all the inspiration."

Shaddix also explained that the new album will be "aggressive and uplifting" as well as "out of the norm" and different to their previous, nu-metal skewed work.

Papa Roach released their breakthrough album 'Infest' in 2000. It has sold over seven million copies globally.
