ROACH FIRST?

The group's 'Infest' single is in the running to follow in Limp Bizkit's footsteps...

FUN LOVIN' CRIMINALS, STARSAILOR, WHEATUS and AMEN all release new singles today, but PAPA ROACH look likely to be the highest new entry with their new single 'LAST RESORT' this coming Sunday (February 11).

'Last Resort' is released today (February 5) via Polydor. Taken from their debut album 'Infest', the single looks likely to enter the charts in the Top Five.

A chart expert at HMV in London predicted it is likely to be their biggest UK chart hit to date. He said: "It's a vague week with not many pop releases. This week's Number One, Atomic Kitten sold 70,000 copies, and that should drop off now. So if Papa Roach can sell between 40-50,000, it could even go in at Number One."

Other high new entries are predicted from Fun Lovin' Criminals, who release their new single 'Loco' via EMI, and Starsailor, whose debut single 'Fever' "should go into the Top 15".

Elsewhere, Wheatus release 'Teenage Dirtbag' via Columbia and Amen, fresh from a slot on the NME Carling Tour, release 'Too Hard To Be Free' via Virgin.
