Paramore have worked with a mariachi band on their new album.

As previously reported the band are set to release their new LP ’Riot’ in the summer. Ima Robot producer David Bendeth worked on the record.

Writing on their Livejournal the band explained: “We had a mariachi band come in on Monday. They laid down their version of a riff that is in a new song; working title ’Mexico’.

"If it works out the right way, you’ll hear it on the new record. However, even if it doesn’t make it to the record you’ll hear it and we think you’ll love it.”

A release date has yet to be confirmed, but Paramore.net reported it will be coming out in June.
