The soundtrack to the vampire film 'Twilight' featuring songs by Paramore, Muse, Linkin Park and Perry Farrell, among others, has debuted at Number One on the US Billboard chart.

The album, which sold 165,000 copies, has knocked AC/DC's 'Black Ice' off the top spot. The veteran rocker's latest effort held on to Number One for two weeks, but has now dropped to Number Two, selling 160,000 copies.

'Twilight' also features songs by Iron & Wine and The Black Ghosts. It was released this week in advance of the film, which is due out in the US on November 21.

Meanwhile, another soundtrack, Disney's 'High School Musical 3', hit Number Three, while Hinder's 'Take It To The Limit' came in at Number Four. Pink's 'Funhouse' rounded out the Top Five.
