Paramore's Hayley Williams has praised the Reading And Leeds Festivals, which the band have been confirmed to play this August.

Speaking about the August 27-29 event, which this year will see Paramore play the Main Stage before headliners Blink-182, Williams told NME.COM why she thinks the Reading And Leeds Festivals are unique.

"It's like any of the festivals we know in the US – on steroids. The line-up is ridiculous, the Main Stage is just massive and I quite like the shopping as well. We are psyched to be playing the festival this year, we'll get to properly thank all the fans that voted for us to win the Best International Band award at this year's NME Awards."

Williams added she is not quite sure how she will prepare for the band's performances at the festival, which they last played in 2007.

"I don't think there's any way to fully prepare ourselves, were just gonna get up there and play a rock show and have a good time with our fans and hopefully win over some others in the process," the singer declared.
