Paramore have revealed that the video to their latest single 'Now' was inspired by a Banksy artwork - watch it below.

The video, which you can see below, shows the band in the middle of a battle scene with both sides throwing coloured smoke instead of bombs. The video was directed by Daniel Cloud Campos, who used to be a professional dancer and has toured with Madonna and Shakira. Speaking to Billboard at the SXSW Festival in Austin, Texas, frontwoman Hayley Williams revealed that a particular piece by the Bristol artist had sparked the idea for the video.

"There's this Banksy image of a man throwing a bouquet instead of a Molotov and we were just like, 'That totally fits the song so much.' The song feels like it has a bit of violence to it but it's not about that at all, it's about embracing something different and looking forward to something you can't see yet. When people watch the video I think it comes across clearly that love always wins in the end and that it's aways better to stop the cycle of bitterness and anger and try something different."

Speaking about the band's forthcoming self-titled album, Williams added: "As people who are growing up, and I feel like we grew up quite a bit since from the time we put out 'Brand New Eyes' to this record, this is really the story of the last three years of our lives. I’m just so proud of it."

Earlier this week Paramore unveiled 'Still Into You', the second song to be taken from 'Paramore'. Scroll down to watch the 'Now' video.
