Paramore to host their own four-day music festival aboard cruise ship

They'll be joined on the inaugural 'Parahoy!' cruise by Tegan and Sara

Paramore are to host their own four-day music festival aboard a cruise ship.

Titled 'Parahoy!', the sailing festival will take place on the 2,400-passenger Norwegian Pearl cruise ship next year (2014). The ship will alight from Miami on March 7 and embark on a voyage to Great Stirrup Cay, a private island in the Caribbean.

Tickets for the four-day cruise begin at $650 (£420) per person and include two gigs "on the pool deck" by Paramore as well as sets by Tegan and Sara and several other artists to be announced shortly. There will also be a Q&A session with Paramore on the pool deck and activities with each band member. Fans can register now for pre-sale at Parahoy.com.

Paramore aren't the only band playing at sea early next year. Weezer's latest 'Weezer Cruise' takes place from February 13-17, 2014 and boasts a line-up including Ash, The Cribs, Palma Violets and DIIV.

Meanwhile, Paramore will be over in the UK for a gig at London's Roundhouse on September 4 as part of this year's iTunes Festival followed by a six-date UK arena tour later in the month. Their fourth studio album, also called 'Paramore', debuted at Number One in the US and the UK upon its release in April.
