Hayley Williams responds to claims Justin Bieber artwork pinched artwork idea from Paramore

Paramore's Hayley Williams has responded to accusations from fans that Justin Bieber stole artwork for his new song from a fan of the band.

Yesterday (April 28) Bieber shared new track 'We Were Born For This' with fans, which can be heard below. The image attached to the SoundCloud link (see above) caught the attention of Paramore fans for its similarities to the cover for the band's 2007 album 'Riot!' (pictured right).

It later transpired that the exact image was first posted on a fan's Tumblr page in 2011.

Responding to the controversy on Tumblr, Williams posted a screengrab from an episode of King Of The Hill in which one character attempts to apologise to another. That character then says, "I wasn't even listening." Williams captioned the page, "My opinion on the whole JB/artwork thing is basically this."
