Parquet Courts film their cat in video for 'Sunbathing Animal' – watch Parquet Courts Tickets

Track is taken from US band's forthcoming album of the same name

Parquet Courts have revealed the video for new song 'Sunbathing Animal' – watch it above now.

The video is shot in black and white and shows frontman Andrew Savage's cat climbing over a sofa near a record player and vinyl collection.

As previously reported, the single version of 'Sunbathing Animal' will be released on Record Store Day, which takes place this Saturday (April 19). The song will come backed by B-side 'Pilgrims To Nowhere' and will be available on 7-inch vinyl next month.

An album of the same name will then follow on June 2. The full tracklisting for the record can be seen below, as well as Parquet Courts' upcoming UK tour dates.

'Sunbathing Animal' follows the release of debut album 'Light Up Gold' and EP 'Tally All The Things You Broke' in 2013.

Parquet Courts will tour in June before appearances at Longitude and Latitude festivals in July. The group will start their short tour in Glasgow before taking in shows in London, Liverpool and Birmingham, with a final date in Oxford on June 26.
