Passion Pit cancel UK dates

Band pull all European shows due to 'personal situation at home'

Passion Pit cancel UK dates

Passion Pit have cancelled their May UK tour.

The band have scrapped all their European dates after declaring they will be unable to travel from the US.

"Due to a personal situation at home, we will unfortunately not be able to play our May UK/Euro dates," the group explained in a statement. "We feel really awful about this and hope that everyone understands. We are looking forward to getting back overseas soon to make up all these shows for you."

The affected dates include the following The Rob da Bank And Friends tour which they were due to headline:

Manchester MOHO (May 11)
Sheffield Leadmill (12)
London Heaven (13)
Southampton Orange Rooms (14)
Bristol O2 Academy (16)

There is no word yet on who will replace Passion Pit.

The band are still expected to appear several European summer festivals, and hope to play new UK shows around them.

Passion Pit are still set to release debut album, 'Manners', on May 18.
