Patrick Wolf to debut new songs in New York

He will perform acoustic showcase next month

Patrick Wolf is set to showcase his new album with a one-off performance at Le Poisson Rouge in New York on May 6.

The performance will see the singer perform songs from his new album, 'The Bachelor', which will be released this summer.

The show is his first US date this year and Wolf will perform acoustically, playing stripped-down versions of the songs. He will return to the US later this summer with a full six-piece band.

Wolf says he is excited to show New York "how it all started by going there on my own with only a case full of instruments for company".

'The Bachelor' has been funded via Bandstocks whereby the public buy shares in the record.
