Patrick Wolf, Badly Drawn Boy and Steve Mason for new London festival

Comedian Tim Minchin is also on the bill for The Apple Cart one day bash

Patrick Wolf, Badly Drawn Boy and Steve Mason have been confirmed to play at a new festival in London.

Also appearing on the bill at The Apple Cart Festival in Victoria Park on August 7 are Saint Etienne, Soul II Soul and The Magic Numbers.

The bash, which features a mix of music, comedy, interactive art and cabaret, will see further appearances from comedians Tim Minchin and Mark Steel as well as Max Somerset from the children's TV show The Sorcerer's Apprentice.

Over on the Cat's Head Cabaret Stage, Chilly Gonzales, James Yorkston, Bourgeois & Maurice, Literary Death Match and Marawa will also be performing
