Patrick Wolf has announced a UK tour next February.

A show has also been booked at London's Queen Elizabeth Hall on April 6, 2013.

The gigs, which are part of a larger run of European dates, start at Oxford St John Evangelist on February 4 and then stop by Norwich, Liverpool, Edinburgh and Wolverhampton, finishing up at Southampton Turner Sims on February 13.

Before next year's gigs, Wolf will also play an instore set at Rough Trade East in London, on December 5. Wolf picks up his current tour at Gateshead Sage Theatre on November 20.

Patrick Wolf released his latest album 'Sundark And Riverlight' in September. It celebrated the singer's 10-year anniversary as a recording artist and featured new acoustic versions of songs from his last five albums.

Of the album, Wolf said: "When I went to the studio I thought I was going to record a one-man solo album, but I started to dream, and heard bassoons and bodhrans. This is my first totally acoustic album and so I made certain that we were working with analogue tape and recording equipment."

Patrick Wolf will play:

Oxford St John Evangelist (February 4, 2013)
Norwich Arts Centre (6)
Liverpool Epstein Theatre (7)
Edinburgh Pleasance Theatre (8)
Wolverhampton Wulfrun Hall (9)
Southampton Turner Sims (13)
London Queen Elizabeth Hall (April 6)
