Patti LaBelle has quit her gospel tour of the US blaming differences with the trek's current promoter.
LaBelle said could not continue in a working relationship with the promoter, and will not perform the rest of the planned shows on the tour.
The tour took in 14 major churches across the US, and was in support of LaBelle’s first gospel CD entitled ’The Gospel According To Patti LaBelle’, Associated Press reports.
She kicked off the tour in October, but has canceled scheduled shows in several major cities across the US.
The gigs are expected to be rescheduled at a later date.
