Patti Smith announces UK tour

Patti Smith has announced details of a UK tour to support her new album ’Twelve’.

The covers album is set to be released on April 16 and features covers of Stevie Wonder’s ’Pastime Paradise’, Tears For Fears ’Everybody Wants To Rule The World’ and ’Helpless’ by Neil Young.

The album also features covers of songs by Bob Dylan, The Doors, Nirvana, Jefferson Airplane, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Allman Brothers and Paul Simon.

She is set to play:

Dublin Vicar Street (13)
London Roundhouse (17)
Mindhead All Tomorrow’s Parties (19)
Liverpool Academy (20)
Glasgow ABC (22)
