Wings, the band Paul McCartney formed following the end of The Beatles, will reissue their 1976 live album 'Wings Across America'.

The album documented the band's trip across North America and will be reissued as a deluxe box edition on May 27. The box set includes the two-disc live album remastered at London's Abbey Road studios, a bonus audio disc recorded live at San Francisco’s Cow Palace, a bonus DVD containing the rarely seen 75-minute television special ‘Wings Over The World’ and the photo gallery montage entitled ‘Photographer’s Pass’. Scroll down to hear a live version of 'Maybe I'm Amazed', which will be released on 12" vinyl for Record Store Day (April 20), now.

In addition to the audio CDs and live DVD, the deluxe box-set also contains four art books packaged with exclusive memorabilia, souvenirs, mementos, keepsakes and never-before-seen photos and art work

Additionally, Rockshow the 1976 film documenting Paul McCartney & Wings' famous Wings over the World tour is to be released on DVD for the first time on June 10. Filmed at the Kingdome in Seattle, Rockshow was not premiered until November 1980 in New York and April 1981 in London. It was originally released on Betamax (later on laserdisc) but has now been made available fully restored from the original 35mm film with restored & remastered sound.

The DVD will be screened in advance to the public on May 15. The theatrical release will be screened at 500 cinemas across the world and features an exclusive introduction from Paul McCartney. The man himself will be in attendance and introducing the film, at BAFTA in London on the night. Click here for more information
