Ex-Beatles legend Paul McCartney closed the Gibson Guitartown charity exhibition yesterday (September 12) by signing a 10-foot guitar, which will be auctioned off for charity.
The huge guitar was part of a series of one-off instruments, which have been signed by the likes of Noel Gallagher, Ozzy Osbourne, Graham Coxon and Dirty Pretty Things.
The guitars will be auctioned off to raise money for three charities: The Prince's Trust, the Teenage Cancer Trust and Nordoff-Robbins Music Therapy.
McCartney said at the event: “I just fancied playing with a big guitar! I think this one will hopefully catch the imagination of the public and whoever is going to buy it at the auction and raise money for all these great charities.”
