The ex-Beatle's hearing will extend into next week
The divorce hearing between ex-Beatles legend Sir Paul McCartney and Heather Mills has been extended after the pair failed to reach an agreement.
The hearing, which had been scheduled to end today (February 15) will now continue into next week (beginning February 17). It will continue in Court 34 of London’s High Court, reports BBC News.
The hearing is taking place “behind closed doors”, as such details of any settlement will remain private, unless the hearing goes to appeal.
It is suggested that the Beatle's estranged wife Heather Mills is pushing for a sum of around £60million from McCartney, which would break the current record payment of £48million for a divorce payout.
