Paul McCartney to reissue post-Beatles recordings on new label
Former Beatle leaves EMI after regaining control of his post 1970s recordings

Paul McCartney has left EMI for an independent music company which will reissue his solo and Wings material.
Concord Music Group will be handling the distribution of all of the legend's post-1970 recordings, which were previously controlled by the British major.
McCartney regained the rights to the library – including all his releases from 1970 to 2006 - in February from EMI, although they remain in control of The Beatles’ material.
“I'm always looking for new ways and opportunities to get my music to people and Concord share this passion," McCartney said of the deal.
Part of the deal will involve the reissue of Wings’ 1973 album 'Band On The Run' in August, including bonus material.
