Ex-Beatle man's show is coming to Britain

Paul McCartney has written the score for a new ballet to be shown in New York and London.

Details about the production are scant, but the according to reports the show will be produced and open in New York before transferring to the UK capital.

Speaking to The Sun, McCartney said: “I have been working on a ballet for a while. I’ll be making a proper announcement in a few weeks. It is a really exciting project for me.”

Paul McCartney was speaking on Sunday (February 13) at the BAFTAS ceremony in London. He presented the award for Best Original Music to Alexandre Desplat for his work on The King’s Speech.

McCartney's weekend got even more interesting when he won a Grammy for Best Solo Rock Vocal Performance for 'Helter Skelter', taken from his 2009 live album 'Good Evening New York City'.
