Paul McCartney releases his latest solo album 'New' today (October 14).

The album features production from Mark Ronson, Paul Epworth and Ethan Johns, who has previously worked with Kings Of Leon and Laura Marling. Long-term McCartney collaborator Giles Martin also features on the album's production credits.

Meanwhile, Pearl Jam return with their 10th studio album, 'Lightning Bolt'. Jeff Ament from the band recently branded the group the "ultimate dad band". Speaking earlier this month, Eddie Vedder joked: "I can only practice once a week, after eight o'clock, after the kids are in bed; maybe Thursdays after the carpool."

Also out today are new albums by Cass McCombs, Fuzz, Cults, Giggs, Kwes, Trivium and Gary Numan. Meanwhile, Radkey, The Men, Fall Out Boy and We Are Scientists all release new EPs. We Are Scientist's 'Business Casual' can be streamed via NME.COM here.
