The singer-songwriter is due to release the LP in the UK on June 13, after putting it out in the US back in April.

Earlier this year, Simon told Uncut that he asked Bob Dylan appear on the album, but didn't receive a response.

He has since claimed that being compared to Dylan (pictured right) throughout his career has really started to annoy him.

Simon explained that although Dylan has long been an inspiration to him, he doesn't like "coming second" to the singer.

Meanwhile Paul Simon is due to kick off a six-date UK tour later this month (23) at Nottingham's Royal Concert Hall, before wrapping up the jaunt at the O2 Apollo Manchester on July 3.

He is also due to perform at this year's Glastonbury, playing on the Pyramid Stage on the final day of the June 24-26 event.
