Paul Weller was joined onstage by a host of guest stars, including Carl Barât and Amy Winehouse, at his special London show tonight (October 25).

The star played the recently refurbished Roundhouse, kicking off the BBC Electric Proms' week-long programme of gigs in and around Camden.

Weller's storming two-hour set was packed full of hits from his 30-year career as frontman for The Jam, and as a solo star, though he did not play any songs by his 80s band The Style Council.

The night's main attraction was joined onstage at various points throughout his set by the likes of Dirty Pretty Things singer Barât, Richard Archer from Hard-Fi and soul diva Amy Winehouse.

Winehouse performed on covers of Marvin Gaye's 'I Heard It Through The Grapevine' and Etta James' 'Don't Go To Strangers'.

Barât was up next, joining in on vocals for versions of Weller's 1996 solo hit 'Peacock Suit' and then, repeating the pair's collaboration last month at Dirty Pretty Things' gig at The Coronet in south London, on a rousing rendition of The Jam's 1977 debut single ‘In The City’.

Archer concluded the guest spots, singing on two Jam tracks, 'That's Entertainment', and the last song before the encore, 'Down In The Tube Station At Midnight'.

The set in full was:

'Blink And You'll Miss It'
'Paper Smile'
'From The Floorboards Up'
'Out Of The Sinking'
'Wild Blue Yonder'
'The Changingman'
'Porcelain Gods'/'I Walk On Guilded Splinters'
'Above The Clouds'
'Savages'/'Fly Little Bird'
'I Heard It Through The Grapevine' (with Amy Winehouse)
'Don't Go To Strangers' (with Amy Winehouse)
'You Do Something To Me'
'Come On/Let's Go'
'Peacock Suit' (with Carl Barât)
'In The City' (with Carl Barât)
'Running On The Spot'
'Foot Of The Mountain'
'Sunflower'
'That's Entertainment' (with Richard Archer)
'Down In The Tube Station At Midnight' (with Richard Archer)
'Broken Stones'
'Town Called Malice'

Earlier in the evening support act The Magic Numbers previewed a number of songs from their forthcoming new album ‘Those The Brokes’ .

Kasabian, The Who, Klaxons and Damon Albarn's new project 'The Good, The Bad And The Queen' are among the 68 acts set to take part in the Electric Proms over the next six days.
