Single will be released next month

Paul Weller will release a collaboration with Oasis' Noel Gallagher and Gem Archer on May 26 as a single.

The new song, entitled 'Echoes Round The Sun', will be released alongside 'Have You Made Up Your Mind' to comprise the first release from Weller's forthcoming new double solo album, '22 Dreams'.

"In songwriting terms, it’s the first Weller/Gallagher collaboration,” Weller told Uncut.

Noel came down to the studio with this loop he’d never been able to do anything with. He played the bass and the piano and then Gem played guitar on top. It’s a top tune."

Other guests on Weller's forthcoming double album, which will be released on June 2, include Graham Coxon, Little Barrie and ex-Stone Roses guitarist Aziz Ibrahim.
