Paul Weller has written a song for Olly Murs' new album titled 'Let Me In', the former X Factor contestant has revealed.

Murs will release his new album 'Never Been Better' on November 24 and revealed in a new interview with The Sun that he recorded a song written for him by Weller, who approached him at a gig to praise his cover of 'Broken Stones', which Murs has performed live and first appeared on the former Jam frontman's 1995 solo album 'Stanley Road'

"Paul came up to me and said, 'I loved the version of Broken Stones you did,' Murs recalled. ''He said, 'Are you writing at the moment? I'll send you some songs.' We went into the studio and reworked one. To get an endorsement from the Modfather himself is special. He's a musical legend.''

In addition to Paul Weller, Murs also worked with Demi Lovato and Travie McCoy on 'Never Been Better'. Meanwhile, Weller recently revealed that he is looking to record new music with both Boy George and Johnny Marr.
