Pavement to play Australia and New Zealand gigs Pavement Tickets

Stephen Malkmus and co to kick off 2010 tour Down Under

Pavement are to kick off their 2010 reunion live dates in Australia and New Zealand.

Stephen Malkmus and co will play their first comeback show at Auckland Town Hall on March 1 before heading over to Australia for six gigs in the country, they announced on their official website Crookedrain.com.

Pavement will play:

Auckland Town Hall (March 1)
Sydney Enmore Theatre (4)
Victoria Golden Plains Festival (6)
Adelaide Thebarton Theatre (7)
Perth Metro City (8)
Brisbane Tivoli (10)
Melbourne Palace Theatre (12)


The reunited band are then set to headline and curate the All Tomorrow's Parties festival in Minehead next May then play in New York in September.

Great news!!! More Pavement shows points to a Glastonbury appearance! which would be ammmazing, i'm thinking 2nd headliner. Hope they announce a few non-festival UK shows too. My favourite band ever!

ditto to that, i want to see pavement in the uk too, without having to watch the editors, or some similar dross before hand
