Pavement announce first UK gig and ticket details Pavement Tickets

Band announce gig for May 2010

Pavement have announced that they will be playing O2 Academy Brixton on May 11 next year.

The show will see the band return to the venue in which they played their 'last ever' show 10 years ago.

Tickets go on general sale at 9am this Friday (October 23). To check the availability of Pavement tickets and get all the latest listings, go to NME.COM/TICKETS now, or call 0871 230 1094.

The announcement follows yesterday's news that the All Tomorrow's Parties festival which the band are curating at Butlin's Minehead over the weekend of May 14-16 sold out in record time.

Five bands have already been announced for the festival: Faust, The Fall, Quasi, Endless Boogie and Enablers.
