The band say they are leaving Epic after 12 years...

PEARL JAM have left their record company EPIC after 12 years, according to a message from the band.

The band recorded seven albums for the label since their massive-selling debut 'Ten' in 1992, selling around 25 million records worldwide.

In the Q&A section of the band's latest Rumor Pit they are asked: "Have Pearl Jam left their record company yet?". The band answer with a simple "Yes."

While there hasn’t been an official statement from Epic, the band had been expressing dissatisfaction recently. They follow [a][/a] and his daughter Kelly quit the label, claiming they wanted to go somewhere where their new records would be received with more "excitement".
