Pearl Jam to play UK club show
Full details of the first British date in six years revealed
The band, whose self-titled new album is out on May 1, play a ‘club’ gig at the Astoria on April 20. Tickets go on sale on March 31 and are limited to two per person.

The last time the band played in Britain was in 2000, when they did two sold-out nights at London Wembley Arena.
The new album marks is the band's first studio release since 2002’s ‘Riot Act’.
Asked about the record, the band commented: "We've got all the instruments going full force, yet coexisting. It's like we took our aggressions and shaped something positive from them in a very direct manner. Though we’d qualify most of the record as hard-driving, the two quiet ones (‘Parachutes’ and ‘Come Back’) could be our best attempts yet at pulling the disguises off of loss of life, and even love."
