PEARL JAM BLAMED FOR ROSKILDE TRAGEDY BY POLICE Pearl Jam Tickets

A day after Pearl Jam told fans they were "feeling better" following the tragic deaths of nine fans at the ROSKILDE FESTIVAL on June 30, it has emerged that authorities have shifted responsibility from event promoters and are now pointing the finger of blame at them.
A police report into the disaster, delivered to the Danish Parliament on July 17, said the band were "morally responsible" for the disaster because they appeal for "violent behaviour" from their fans.
The report, that includes comments from Roskilde Deputy Chief Constable, Bent Rungstrom, also slammed the band for: "Whipping a crowd into a frenzy...the ground was slippery and visibility was poor due to vapour in the air from many thousand people sweating."
More than 280 witnesses were interviewed for the report. Until the Danish Minister Of Justice, Frank Jensen decides on the next step, it is unclear what action will be taken.
Pearl Jam have yet to comment on the findings.
