The trailer for Pearl Jam's new documentary Pearl Jam Twenty has been posted online, scroll down to the bottom of the page and click to watch it.

The documentary, which has been put together by Almost Famous director Cameron Crowe, collects rare and unseen footage of the band and celebrates their 20 year career thus far, with in depth interviews with each of the band members featured.

The film will be premiered on US TV on October 21, with no UK transmission date confirmed as yet.

The director has previously said the film is made up of "the best souvenirs of the past, some fabled footage you've heard exists but have never seen, and some interviews".

Crowe is also working on a film about Elton John, which has been given the title of The Union. There is no release date for that documentary at the present time.

Pearl Jam have recently indicated they have begun up work on their new album.
