Pendulum say new album was 'five times' harder to make than debut

Band admit making 'In Silico' was not easy

Pendulum have said that making 'In Silico' has been "five times" harder than they thought.

The band's eagerly-awaited second album is released on May 12.

Speaking about the recordings they explained in a statement: "We went into this album with the attitude that it would be easy, determined to avoid the cliché of a second album being difficult, but it was five times harder than we ever imagined it would be.

"We underestimated the amount of work that had to go into it to make it turn out the way we wanted it to, but I think we've achieved that, and we hope you all enjoy it."
