Pendulum drew a massive crowd to the NME/Radio 1 Stage tonight (August 27) as they closed the first day of the Leeds Festival.

The drum'n'bass collective performed a host of hits from their 2008 album 'In Silico' and this year's follow-up 'Immersion'.

Some fans couldn't get into the tent as the band played, with many forced to watch the gig on the TV screens outside the stage.

Arriving onstage, MC Ben Mount got the crowd to chant, "Yorkshire, Yorkshire", before declaring: "This is the big one. Leeds, get fucking crazy."

The band then kicked off their set with 'Salt In The Wounds', before playing hit single 'Granite'.

Later the band played their biggest hit 'Propane Nightmares' and added a few bars from The Prodigy's single 'Voodoo People' into 'Blood Sugar' which also saw Mount make the whole tent sit down and jump up.

Rounding off their set with 'Watercolor', Mount praised the crowd. "I know what you are Leeds, you're fucking amazing," he said. "Reading has got a lot to beat. We love you."

Pendulum played:

'Salt In The Wounds'
'Granite'
'The Vulture'
'Slam'
'Witchcraft'
'The Island Pt.1'
'The Island Pt.2'
'Tarantula'
'Propane Nightmares'
'Blood Sugar'
'Watercolor'
