Perfume Genius has announced details of his third album, 'Too Bright'.

The album will be released on September 22 via Turnstile and features new song 'Queen', which can be heard below now.

Speaking about 'Queen' in a statement, Perfume Genius – real name Mike Hadreas – said the song tackles the "faces of blank fear when I walk by... if these fucking people want to give me some power – if they see me as some sea witch with penis tentacles that are always prodding and poking and seeking to convert the muggles – well, here she comes."

Hadreas has worked with producer Adrian Utley of Portishead on the album with John Parish featuring on a number of tracks. Describing the sound of the album, Hadreas is quoted as saying that the album showcases "an underlying rage that has slowly been growing since 10 and has just begun to bubble up."

The 'Too Bright' tracklisting is:

'I Decline'
'Queen'
'Fool'
'No Good'
'My Body'
'Don't Let Them In'
'Grid'
'Longpig'
'I'm a Mother'
