Perry Farrell's Satellite Party announce debut
It features lots of special guests
Perry Farrell’s band Satellite Party have announced details of their debut album.
The album 'Ultra Payloaded' will be released on May 28, and features a number of guests including New Order’s Peter Hook, Black Eyed Peas' Fergie and Red Hot Chili Peppers guitarist John Frusciante.
The track ’Woman In The Window’ features elements from an unreleased Jim Morrison vocal track.
The album sleeve is printed on recycled paper. Plus the all the CDs are carbon neutral and, according to a statement, "the estimated CO2 produced from its manufacture, shipping and packaging being offset by helping build renewable energy projects with Nativeenergy.com/sony".
The first single from the album is set to be ’Wish Upon Dog Star’, though a release date has yet to be announced.
The band play the 02 Wireless Festival in London Hyde Park on June 14 and Leeds Harewood House the following day. The White Stripes headline on those days. Queens Of The Stone Age and Air also appear.
