Perry Farrell launches new record label

Satellite Party's album is the first release

Perry Farrell has announced the launch of a new label, Bells Are Ringing.

The first release from the label will be Satellite Party's 'Ultra Payloaded' album, which was originally released by Columbia last May.

Farrell, who formed the label in an effort to gain more artistic freedom and financial control, said: "I'm very excited to become part of this new independent trend where artists will have more creative freedom, make higher profits on the sales of their music and most of all it allows me, the artist, to own my art, my masters."

Satellite Party are currently on tour and are set to play the following shows:

Aspen Belly Up (September 19)
Ridgefield Amphitheatre at Clark County (KNRK Show) (21) Seattle, WA Seattle Qwest Field (KNDD End Fest Show) (22)
