Latitude Festival headliners revealed

Plus get tickets for the July event

Grace Jones, Nick Cave And The Bad Seeds and Pet Shop Boys will headline this year's Latitude Festival.

Editors, Bat For Lashes and Doves are also set to play the 2009 event.

The festival takes place at Southwold in Suffolk between July 16 and 19 and also features a full range of performance stages devoted to the likes of theatre, comedy and poetry.

More names will be announced soon.

Ah well in a world of Killers headlining festival its refreshing to see a festival with the chutzpah to put Grace Jones and Pet Shop Boys headling. I'm going!

I can tell you exactly what they were thinking. Something along the lines of "How can we stop our festival turning into the media circus of crap that most others seem to have? I know, we'll pick some interesting headliners instead of whoever was mentioned the most in yesterday's paper" something like that anyway...
