Pet Shop Boys are set to release their new album, 'Electric', on July 15.

Scroll down to hear the record's lead single, 'Axis'.

The band recently revealed that they had left Parlophone Records after 28 years. They will put out their new LP via music publisher Kobalt Label Services.

The new album was produced by Stuart Price (Madonna, The Killers) and will feature a cover of Bruce Springsteen's 'Last to Die', from his 2007 album 'Magic'.

Example – pictured – will feature on the song 'Thursday'. Scroll down for a full tracklisting.

In a statement, Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe have called the new release "banging".

The duo said of their 12th studio album: "'Electric' is very much set on the dancefloor. Our latest album often evolves as a response to our previous album and, whereas 'Elysium' had a reflective mood, 'Electric' is pretty banging!"

Fans will be able to catch the duo live in the UK later this year. Pet Shop Boys will play London's O2 Arena on June 18 and Manchester's Evening News Arena on June 20.

The 'Electric' tracklisting is:

'Love Is A Bourgeois Construct'
'Inside A Dream'
'The Last To Die'
'Shouting In The Evening'
