Warrant issued for Pete Doherty's arrest
Babyshambles singer fails to show up to a court hearing
A warrant for Babyshambles frontman Pete Doherty's arrest has been issued after he failed to show up to a court hearing in Yeovil.
Doherty had been due to attend the hearing to enter a plea after allegedly attacking a photogragher who had been taking photographs of him while he was with his then-girlfriend, Irina Lazareanu.
He was charged with causing £200-worth of damage.
According to the Daily Mail Nick Bernard, chairman of the bench at the Yeovil court, said: "I assume that this is the correct address we have for Mr Doherty.
"He should have, therefore, received the letters stating when he should attend court."
