Babyshambles are set to be joined by The Who's Roger Daltrey for a one-off gig next January.
The band will team up with the singer at the Bristol Academy on January 12.
Daltrey originally met Babyshambles frontman Pete Doherty in July at the funeral of Daniel Squires, a 16-year-old cancer sufferer who had struck up a friendship with the former Libertine. Doherty performed a song at Squires' wake, and Daltrey was so impressed with his voice that he insisted that they team up for the gig.
Proceeds for the gig will go towards Moonfest - the festival which Babyshambles were banned from playing at earlier this year. Organisers hope to put on the bash in 2009.
Tickets for the gig are on sale now.
