Pete Doherty to headline LMHR festival

Babyshambler to head up Stoke bash

Pete Doherty has been announced as the headliner for the forthcoming Love Music Hate Racism Festival, it has been announced.

The Babyshambles man will head up the Stoke bash on May 30 at Stoke City FC's Britannia Stadium.

Other acts on the bill include Reverend And The Makers, former Specials man Jerry Dammers, Kelly Rowland and Doherty's Babyshambles bandmate Dre McConnell's side-project Helsinki.

Fans have accused bouncers at Pete Doherty's Southampton gig last weekend (March 15) of been overly physical and aggressive towards them.
According to those at the show, a disturbance erupted after the crowd began to take exception to the treatment of audience members by the security guards at the town's Guildhall. Speaking to NME.COM, crowd member Ian Easton claimed that "the way the security were acting was disgusting. They were so over the top".
