Pete Doherty is to appear in court tomorrow morning (June 12) for driving, drugs and drink offences.
The singer was arrested early this morning (June 11) after police in Gloucester spotted him driving erratically after his gig at the city’s Guildhall.
A spokesperson for Gloucester police told NME.COM that police are refusing to release Doherty until after he goes to Stroud Magistrates Court tomorrow morning.
"He's been charged with dangerous driving, possession of Class A drugs, drink driving and driving without a valid license and insurance," the spokesperson explained. "He's been remanded in custody and he'll be appearing at Stroud Magistrates Court tomorrow morning."
Doherty is expected to attend the court at around 10am (BST).
The spokesperson added that he was allegedly caught with a small quantity of Class A drugs on him, adding, "It was quite a small amount [of drugs] that was on his possession."
As a result of Doherty's arrest, his scheduled gig at Derby Rockhouse tonight has now been cancelled.
